This has always been our main product and by keeping the process as simple and straightforward as possible, we are doing our best to ensure no one need die intestate. A home visit and a fixed fee anywhere in England and Wales is available to everyone.
We can write a Lasting Power of Attorney that gives the right to make decisions, perhaps to a trusted friend or relative, about almost any aspect of your property or affairs.
If you have elderly people who rely on you for help then a Lasting Power of Attorney is needed to protect both them & you.
For example, if you fear that you may not be able in the future to make decisions concerning your affairs, perhaps, due to a progressive illness or accident. An appointed Attorney could look after your affairs for you until you recover.
A Living Will allows you to choose your future health care treatment should you be unable to make or tell your doctors of your decisions at the time. For example, if an accident or illness had left you desperately ill and being kept alive by a machine with no hope of recovery, what would you want for yourself if you could speak? Would you want the machinery switched off to allow you to die peacefully? Or would you want the opposite just in case one day a miracle may happen & you got better? A Living Will would allow your voice to be clearly heard in those desperate circumstances.
A lot of people know from personal experience that Nursing Home fees can quickly wipe out an lifetimes savings – including the family home – and can be far more of a problem than Inheritance Tax.
If you are concerned for the future, then we may be able to help with a Property Protection Trust (this only applies to married couples and those in a Civil partnership).
